At Ronan, the cross county clash between the Chiefs and visiting Bulldogs started out as a tightly contested first frame. But thereafter, the contest would gravitate toward the host team as Ronan continued to gain separation. In addition to the scoring disparity, the Chiefs also outrebounded the Bulldogs by almost a 2:1 margin.

Ronan placed a quartet in double figures that included a double-double from Trey Don’t Mix that included a dozen boards.

At Frenchtown, the Chiefs experienced tougher sledding as the host Broncs more than doubled up the score on the visitors by the half. Ten Chiefs factored into the scoring column in the loss that needed more productive offensive output to give themselves a chance to hang with one of the tougher teams west of the Divide.

Ronan travels to Browning and Libby for a pair of conference clashes this weekend.
