With my mother’s recent passing, I reflect back on her life and care since she moved into an assisted living facility and her journey to the end of her life. My mother, Evelyn Bailey, reached a point in her life that she viewed her best option would be to move into The village at Orchard Ridge, a nonprofit, Christian assisted living facility. (Formerly, The Coeur d’Alene Homes). During her nearly 10-year stay at The Village at Orchard Ridge, she received excellent attention by caring professionals.

In the last few weeks of her life, Hospice of North Idaho was contacted to provide very personal end of life care. The compassion and professionalism provided by Hospice of North Idaho is the very best possible.

Our area is very fortunate to have these two outstanding nonprofit care facilities in our city. Please help support these two institutions, and consider them when time comes for you or a family member.
