Whitefish Theatre Co. announces new director
Daily Inter-Lake | UPDATED 5 years, 11 months AGO
The Whitefish Theatre Co. has a new executive director.
Jennifer Asebrook took over the position at the start of the year after serving as Whitefish Theatre Co.’s development director since 2013. Gayle MacLaren, executive director since 2014 and a member of the WTC staff since 1999, has taken on a part-time position as operations manager.
“WTC is a wonderful place to work and I have really enjoyed learning about the administrative aspects of this wonderful community theater,” Asebrook said. “The best part is that our incredible staff has remained intact with these changes and Gayle can continue to be my mentor and source of support.
“This scenario offers me the best of both worlds,” MacLaren said. “My new position allows me to semi-retire but still spend time in a place that I love and with community that I love to see. I was not ready to completely leave WTC and these staff changes will allow me to do all the fun things that I enjoy here, while making sure this transition goes smoothly. I am so confident that Jen will lead the organization to great success for years to come.”
The Whitefish Theatre Co. is halfway through its 2019-2020 season. For more information on remaining shows in the season, auditions and summer camps, visit the website at whitefishtheatreco.org.
