The body of a Martin City man was found near the railroad tracks in Kalispell Wednesday afternoon.

Flathead County Sheriff/Coroner Brian Heino identified the man as 25-year-old Greggory Bancroft.

Heino said Bancroft was found clothed near the railroad tracks, not far from the former Rygg Ford building off Idaho Street.

The body will be sent to the Montana State Crime Lab in Missoula to determine the cause of death.

Heino said there were no obvious signs of trauma to the body. He did say that Bancroft has had contact with law enforcement in the past.

The Kalispell Police Department is investigating.
