CLARK FORK — A strong first half wasn’t enough as Clark Fork boys basketball fell to Wallace 69-38 Tuesday night in a North Star League game.

The Wampus Cats had trouble containing Wallace’s Logan Hull who went off for 31 points and gave Clark Fork fits all night.

“First half we played with confidence and continued to play aggressive, everything was clicking,” head coach Heath Beason wrote in an email. “Proud of the way the team was playing. Went into halftime confident. Came out the second half flat and tired. Turnovers, unnecessary fouls and couldn’t rebound. Fundamentals not there. This one was a hard loss. We felt prepared for this game we knew there style and we just couldn’t get it done tonight.”

Wallace outscored Clark Fork 34-17 in the second half.

Carter SanRoman led the team with 11 points. Cameron Garcia and Charlie Abbott each added 8.

Clark Fork (3-10, 0-3 NSL) hosts Kootenai at 7 p.m. next Tuesday.
