Coronavirus: Total cases exceed 700 in Grant County

GRANT COUNTY — There were 15 cases of the coronavirus reported in Grant County on Tuesday, according to Grant County Health District.

Three cases previously reported were discovered to not be of county residents, meaning the total caseload increased only by 12 to 703 cases since the pandemic began.

There were five new cases in Royal City, three new cases in the Mattawa area, two new cases each in Soap Lake and the Quincy area, and one new case in Moses Lake.

The health district also began reporting recent recoveries but will be reporting only for the recoveries in the last 28 days, instead of a running total from the beginning of the pandemic. As of Tuesday, 244 people had recovered in the last 28 days.

There have been 193 cases reported in Moses Lake, 173 in the Mattawa area and 168 in the Quincy area.
