Betty (Forell) Jeffres

Betty (Forell) Jeffres passed away at Valley Vista Care Center in Sandpoint, Idaho, on Monday, June 29, 2020.

A celebration of life potluck will be held at the home of Jim and Jola Forell on July 18 at 1 p.m.

Betty was born in November 7, 1935, and raised in Sandpoint, the daughter of Harold E. and Lois V. Forell. She attended Bonner County schools. After high school, she started work with the Bonner County School District and was employed there for many years.

She married Ernest “Dale” Jeffres on April 30, 1966, in Coeur d’Alene. Idaho.

Dale and Betty established D&B Appliance Repair and included Betty’s Reliable Bookkeeping Service, with that, in 1978.

Betty and Dale enjoyed their lives together, raising Dale’s horses, rodeos, she cooking for Dale’s hunting trips, camping, boating, fishing and RVing.

She loved country music, dancing, gardening, flowers, family potlucks and holiday celebrations, many that were held at Betty and Dale’s beautiful property in Sunny-side.

Surv-iving are two stepchildren, Randy Jeffres and Jill (Frank) Palmer; seven step-grandchildren, 17 great-step-grandchildren and five great-great-step-grandchildren; and siblings, Velma Nelson, Carol (Gary) Millard, Larry (Anna) Forell and Jim (Jola) Forell.

She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Dale; stepdaughter Bobbi Jo Davis; her parents, Harold and Lois; sister Della Bricker; and brothers, Delmer “Buddy” Forell and Daymond Forell.
