Coronavirus: 13 new cases in Grant County

GRANT COUNTY — There were 13 new cases of the coronavirus reported in Grant County on Wednesday, including five in Moses Lake, three in Royal City, three in the Quincy area, and two in Ephrata, according to Grant County Health District.

In addition, a possible case is being reported in the Coulee City area, which would be the first in that area since the pandemic began and the last area in the county to see its first case.

Since the pandemic began, 875 cases have been reported in Grant County, according to the health district, and 64 have been hospitalized, according to data from the state Department of Health. Eleven people are currently hospitalized.

There have been 241 cases reported in Moses Lake, 210 cases in the Mattawa area and 209 cases in the Quincy area.
