The Clark Fork River Bridge near Trout Creek reopened to single-lane traffic ahead of schedule Friday, July 10.

Traffic over the bridge will be reduced to one lane until construction is completed in September.

Traffic is reduced to one lane over the bridge and traffic signals on both ends of the bridge will direct traffic.

Drivers can expect up to 15-minute delays.

The Montana Department of Transportation initially planned for a six-week full closure of the bridge. Crews working days, nights, weekends, and holidays, combined with favorable weather conditions made the early bridge opening possible.

Sign up for construction text updates: Text TCBRIDGE to 555888. Standard message and data rates may apply to text messages. The department anticipates sending one update message per week and subscribers may request help by replying HELP or opt-out at anytime by replying STOP.

For more information about the project, contact Brandon Coates at 406-465-3350, email Brandon@rbci.net or visit: www.mdt.gov/publicinvolve/clarkforkbridge
