MASKS: Mandate now overdue

I just read James Crowe’s letter Sunday concerning the need to mask up. It’s the letter I’ve been thinking about writing for several days now.

Many evenings my wife and I take a little mini drive. We head down and drive around the Dike Road, then around the park, and then we drive through downtown heading east on Sherman. As we go through downtown we see that all the bars and restaurants are jam packed and the crowds are spilling out onto the sidewalk. This is every night now. No masks. No distancing.

It’s time to make the hard decisions.
