Ninth COVID-19-linked death in Grant County announced

GRANT COUNTY — A ninth Grant County resident with the coronavirus has died, according to Grant County Health District.

The patient was an Ephrata man in his 60s and had underlying conditions that increased his risk for severe complications from COVID-19, the health district wrote in a Thursday press release. The patient was not named.

“Grant County Health District is saddened by the loss of another community member,” the health district wrote.
