Firefighters kept a trailer fire in Polson from spreading to nearby buildings last Wednesday.

Polson Fire Department Chief Clint Cottle said the single wide trailer was abandoned and no one was hurt, including firefighters from his department and Polson Rural Fire Department.

When crews arrived at the scene at about 11 p.m. the building was fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters cleared the scene at about 12:30 a.m. The cause was undetermined.
