I’m just a simple man trying to make my way in the universe. I suppose you could say that I’m a bit of a geek.

Activities/clubs/sports: National Honor Society, student leadership, library volunteer.

Hobbies: Photography, enjoying nature, 3-D printing, drawing and making appetizing food.

Favorite books: While I have many favorite books, one that comes to mind is the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy and “The Last Reaper” series.

Movies: I do quite enjoy the “Star Wars films,” along with the Marvel franchise. Music: Ah, well my tastes are certainly a bit all over the place for sure. I do enjoy “BFG Division” by Mick Gordon and “Dragonborn” by Jeremy Soule.

Favorite school subject: That would be history.

What has been your proudest moment in your school career? When I graduate.

What has been the biggest challenge you overcame to become top of your class? Procrastination, I suppose. That and making sure I had a good sleep schedule.

What is one of your favorite school memories, from K-12? Probably be all the great teachers I’ve met over the years.

What are your plans for after high school? I’m headed off to Lewis-Clark State College. After that, who knows?

Who has been your biggest influence or your biggest cheerleader through your academic journey?: That would be myself, as my internal voices are pretty good at self-motivation.

What will you miss most about high school?: My friends. I hope they go on to succeed in life, and that we’ll stay in touch.

What advice do you have for younger students that will help them excel in their studies?: Your biggest enemy is probably going to be procrastination. Resist it.

What is your legacy to your school?: Probably that I was a good school historian and my willingness to help out others.

Any lasting thoughts? Senior year has certainly taught me to be flexible when things don’t go as planned.
