Coronavirus: 14 new cases since Friday

GRANT COUNTY - There were 14 new cases of the novel coronavirus reported in Grant County since Friday, including ten new cases in Moses Lake, three new cases in the Quincy area, and one new case in Warden, according to the Grant County Health District.

In total, there were 236 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in Grant County as of Monday evening.

There were also 34 probable cases and 175 tests still pending results as of Monday. One hundred and six people have recovered enough to no longer be placed under quarantine, the health district reported May 22.

Two people sickened with the novel coronavirus are currently hospitalized, including one person from Summer Wood Alzheimer’s Special Care Center, the health district reported.

As of Monday evening, the Quincy area had 81 confirmed cases, Moses Lake reported 58, and the Mattawa area had 55.

In addition to tests that have come back positive, 2,838 have come back negative.
