Drop off ballots by tonight
The Daily Inter Lake | Hagadone News Network | UPDATED 4 years, 7 months AGO
Today is Montana’s primary election, which looks different this year as all counties are conducting an all-mail election to mitigate risks related to COVID-19.
Ballots must be received by 8 p.m., so it is too late for voters to mail their ballots. However, there are multiple drop-off locations in Flathead County:
• Flathead County Election Office, 40 11th St W, Suite 230, Kalispell.
• Bethany Lutheran ARK building, 8859 Montana 35, Bigfork.
• City of Columbia Falls Council Chambers, 130 Sixth St. W, Room A.
• Whitefish City Hall, 418 Second St. E.
There are also two drive-through locations for dropping off ballots: the Flathead County Fairgrounds in Kalispell, and the alley behind the South Campus County Building. Access to the alley is off 11th Street West.
Voter registration will still be available at the election office until 8 p.m.
To check if you are registered to vote, see a sample ballot or access other voter services, visit the state’s My Voter Page at app.mt.gov/voterinfo or call the Flathead County Election Office at 758-5535.
