Local store sells winning ticket

OLDTOWN — A local store proved to be a lucky spot for a Spokane, Washington, man.

Timothy DeMaine recently mailed in a winning ticket for the Syringa Slingo scratch game to claim a $50,000 prize. DeMaine purchased the ticket at DJ’s EZ Stop on Highway 2. For selling the winning ticket, the store gets $5,000, Idaho Lottery officials said.
