A 20-year-old Kalispell man who died June 6 in a traffic accident in Jefferson County south of Helena has been identified as Austin Lamar DeMars.

DeMars was driving south on Interstate 15 Saturday evening when his vehicle left the road, crossed the median and rolled, coming to rest on its roof, according to the Montana Highway Patrol. It is believed the car hydroplaned on wet roads. Drugs, alcohol and the failure to wear seat belts also were factors in the crash, the Patrol said.

Two other passengers in the vehicle were injured, a 19-year-old Kalispell man and a 19-year-old Hot Springs man. Both were taken to a hospital.
