Seifert, Wall win Glacier Bank tourney

Tommy Seifert and Tracy Wall’s 123 earned the championship at last weekend’s Glacier Bank golf tournament at Polson Bay Course.
The two-person best ball 18-hole tourney was played Saturday and Sunday. Play was flighted by handicap and gender with the net scores based on percentage of combined handicap.
In the ladies flight, the duo of Louise Cholette-Haley and Linda Taylor scored 143 for the win. Eileen Clark and Guyly Streit were one stroke behind at 144 while Jan Dean and Rosalie Meltzer scored 147.
In the first flight, finishing behind Seifert and Wall, were Chad Komlofske and Payton Lefthand with a score of 130. Placing third were Tim Esquibel and Brad Walter (132), finishing fourth were John Velk and Jason Hauser (134) and claiming fifth were two teams with matching 135s. One included Dennis Davis and Joe Durocher while the other featured Jody Seifert and Scott Dupuis.
Two teams tied for seventh with 136s. The first was Mike Kyam and Scott Wilson while the other included Bruce Clark and Tom Streit.
In the championship flight, two teams tied for first with 127s. Tom Kragh and Matt Hobbs were one due while the other included Mark Gage and Nate Gage.
The third place team included Scott Eide and Eric Murphy (129), the fourth-place finishers were Sean and Ron Ramsbacher (131).
Scoring 132 to tie for fifth were five teams. One featured Brad Grattan and Chris Vidulich, a second were the team of Lee Pelletier and Lonnie Rand while Ryan and Calvin Flink were a third. A fourth included Paul and Les Jessop and the fifth duo featured Bob Gray and Brian Sheridan.
For the Pebble Beach No. 7 closest to the pin challenge, Jason Hauser was first, followed by Maxwell Milton, Roger Wallace and Tim Rausch.
