Both games were played against premier level teams which draw from larger metropolitan AA athletic talent pools, underscoring an accomplishment all the more impressive.

At Polson last Tuesday, the visiting Lady Bulldogs showed measurable improvement by making defensive plays on the field, keeping the score within a single digit margin and extending the game through seven innings. Polson plated all the points they would need when they sent their entire lineup to the plate in the first inning, capped by a dual RBI double by Quinn Motichka. The Lady Pirates would add the icing to the cake in the fourth inning with the first home run of the season, a three bag tater by Hannah Fryberger.
