Sixth Grant County resident infected with coronavirus has died

GRANT COUNTY - A sixth Grant County resident previously infected with the coronavirus has died, according to Grant County Health District.

The patient was a Moses Lake man in his 90s, according to a statement from the health district. No other information about the patient was provided in the initial statement. Later, the district confirmed that the patient was not associated with a long-term care facility.

“As our community experiences an additional loss of a long time resident, our hearts are with his family and friends. On behalf of our staff, Grant County Health Officer, and Board of Health, we are so sorry for the loss of your father, grandfather, uncle, and friend,” GCHD stated.
