MOSES LAKE — The Basin Piecemakers’ annual quilt show, like so many other events, had to be canceled this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to member Connie Frye. The show, which normally features demonstrations of quilting techniques and vendors offering fabric and quilting notions as well as a display of quilts of all sizes and styles, has been postponed until June 2021. The exact date will be announced when it becomes available.

One quilt show activity that was not postponed was the drawing for the raffle quilt. The drawing took place on Saturday, June 20, at the Moses Lake Farmers Market. Debbie Doran-Martinez, owner of Cornfusion at the market, drew the name and the winners were Bruce and Debbie Snyder.

Raffle tickets for the 2021 quilt show will be available this fall, according to Frye.
