Gold show next week at fairgrounds

The annual gold prospector and treasure show is next week at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds.

The March 14-15 show features panning and gold-finding demonstrations, sluice boxes, metal detectors, gems, minerals and vendors.

Doors open at 9 a.m. and cost is $5 per person. Free gold samples are given to the first 100 paid admissions.
