Grant County officials released a list of public places and gatherings a Quincy resident who has tested positive for COVID-19 attended in February, alerting those who also attended to monitor their symptoms.

The gatherings included on the list occurred mostly at the Quincy Senior Center between Feb. 14 and Feb. 28. Also included was the Quincy High School production of “Mary Poppins” on Feb. 21.

People at those gatherings might have been exposed to COVID-19 and are asked to monitor themselves for symptoms, including fever, cough and shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, for two weeks.

The person who tested positive is at Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee in critical condition.

The person who tested positive is in their 80s and did not report recent travel history outside the country. As a result, health officials warn that the disease could have been acquired locally. People who had close contact with the person have been asked to quarantine.
