STATE 3A BOYS: Kellogg keeps trophy dreams alive

MERIDIAN — Graden Nearing scored a game-high 22 points as the Kellogg Wildcats fought off the Homedale Trojans 56-48 in a state 3A loser-out game at Meridian High on Friday.

Taylor Bush scored eight points for Kellogg (17-7), which faces Snake River (14-10) today in the consolation championship game.

Jaxon Dines scored 15 points for Homedale.
