As more and more public gatherings are being canceled due to the coronavirus, the Press wants to help readers to stay up-to-date. If you have an upcoming public event that will be canceled, postponed or rescheduled please email the details to Hollyp@cdapress.com. Include the event name, original date and time of the event, whether it has been canceled, postponed or rescheduled, and a phone number, email address or website URL for information.

• Hayden Chamber of Commerce’s Night Under the Bigtop annual banquet and culinary competition, scheduled for 5 p.m. on April 4 at the fairgrounds, has been rescheduled July 25, same time and location. For tickets and information: 208-762-1185 or www.haydenchamber.org/events.

• The Kootenai County Reagan Republicans have canceled the March 19 lunch meeting along with all the remaining March meetings at IHOP.

• The Rathdrum Chamber of Commerce has canceled the Chamber Monthly Networking Luncheon that was scheduled for March 19. Information: 208-687-2866 or office@rathdrumchamber.com.

• Kootenai Humane Society is closed to the public until further notice. The Wednesday afternoon vaccine clinic is also closed.

— Currently have a spay or neuter appointment

— Need to schedule a spay or neuter appointment

— Interested in adopting an animal currently on the humane society’s website

— Need to surrender an animal

• Kootenai Electric Cooperative (KEC) has temporarily closed its office to the public. Members can still call or email the office with any questions and payments can still be made online, through the SmartHub app, via phone or mail, or by dropping a payment off in the front dropbox. They have also postponed the May 4 Annual Membership Meeting. Information: KEC 208-756-1200 or kec@kec.com

• The Coeur d’Alene Casino will close daily from 3 to 7 a.m. for deep cleaning, including the Casino and the Conoco gas station (pumps will remain open). Guests will only be able to enter the property from the Mountain Lodge, Spa Tower and Main Lobby entrances from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and between 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Restaurants and Bingo will practice spaced seating, facilitated by ushers, and all large, public events have been postponed through the end of April. • The Kroc Center has suspended all programs and public and member access to the center until at least April 5, effective today. A hotline has been set up to answer any questions regarding the Kroc, 208-763-0777, and the website will be updated at www.kroccda.org

• All events at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds have been canceled or postponed through April. Any questions related to specific events should be directed to the event host or promoter, or check back on the Fairgound’s website for rescheduled dates. www.kcfairgrounds.com/

• The Kootenai County Republican Central Committee has canceled the March 24 meeting. The next one is scheduled for April 28.

• The Idaho Democratic Party Headquarters are closed to the public, and has canceled the statewide April 4 Delegate Selection Caucuses. Alternative details are being determined and will be posted on Twitter (@IdahoDems) and Facebook (Idaho Democratic Party). • Kootenai County Democrats are suspending all in-person meetings and events until further notice, including Kootenai County Democratic Central Committee meetings, Executive Committee meetings and Kootenai County Democratic club meetings. Additionally, the Democracy Day Dinner that was to happen on May 20 will likely be rescheduled for sometime this summer. Information: https://kootenaidemocrats.org/

• The free Tax Aide services that were being held at the Lake City Center and at Silver Lake Mall have been suspended.

• Post Falls Chamber of Commerce has canceled the March 17 Connect 4 Lunch meeting.

Additionally, the Reverse Job Fair scheduled for March 25 has also been canceled. Information: deb@postfallschamber.com.

• The Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce has postponed two events. The Business After Hours scheduled for March 26 the Commissioners Luncheon on March 31 will both be held at later dates. Information: Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce 208-664-3194

• Hayden Chamber of Commerce has canceled the Monthly Networking Breakfast that was to be held March 26 at the Kroc Center. Next month’s meeting is planned for 7 a.m. on April 23, also at the Kroc. • Chorale Coeur d’Alene has announced the Bravo! Beethoven concerts scheduled for April 18 at First Presbyterian Church in Spokane and April 25 and 26 at Lutheran Church of the Master have been canceled. Information: www.choralecda.com

• The Children’s Village Spring Benefit, Our 30th Year, on April 18 at the Coeur d’Alene Resort, has been rescheduled to June 5. Information: Children’s Village, 208-667-1189.
