All state, conference hoops awards

All conference and all state basketball selections have been announced.

On the Columbia Falls boys’ side, Dillon Shipp was named second-team all conference and Allec Knpaton was named honorable mention all-conference.

On the Columbia Falls girls’ side Josie Windauer and LaKia Hill were named first-team all state/all conference. Hannah Schweikert and Maddie Robison were named second team all conference.

Whitefish Mountain Resort’s post-season uphill policy expired last week, but with significant snowfall and changing weather conditions, the resort reminds skier and hikers that avalanche hazards in the ski area’s permitted boundaries do exist.
