Henry ‘Hank’ Wenig, 91

Henry “Hank” Ward Wenig died March 10, 2020, at 91 years old. He was born Oct. 12, 1928, near Haskins, Ohio. His family moved to McClure, Ohio, where he graduated from high school. He was a veteran of the Korean War.

Hank moved his family from Ohio to Sandpoint, Idaho, in 1972, and lived in Post Falls, Idaho for 18 years, Bonners Ferry/Moyie Springs, Idaho, for 10 years, and in Hayden for the past 20 years.

Hank is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lois; six children: Mark (Lisa) Wenig, Kaye (Bill) Boone, Lynn (Tom) Hauer, Paul, Cari and Dana (Dave) Cordell; his brother, Robert Wenig; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nephews and nieces.

A private interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Post Falls. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
