Loren D. Padula, 89

Loren D. Padula, 89, of Kellogg, Idaho, passed away Dec. 5, 2019, in Kellogg. He was born March 16, 1930, in Stevensville, Mont.; Loren was the son of Ferdinand and Nada (Wickstrom) Padula.

Loren went to work for Darigold and was a milk man until he retired. When Loren wasn’t working, he was spending his free time volunteering with the local Lions Club. He was also very involved with his church.

Loren met and married Evelyn Ross. Together they raised four children.

In his free time, Loren enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also liked playing the guitar and harmonica. Loren also loved time spent with his family and grandchildren.

Loren will be remembered as a great man who was very fun to be around. He got along with everyone and was a friend to all.

Loren is survived by two children: Lorna Oberg and John Padula; one brother, Mike Padula; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Loren was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, and sons Dave and Chuck Padula.

A celebration of Loren’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2020, at the Silver Valley Worship Center, in Smelterville, Idaho.
