The Museum has partnered with the Boundary County Fair Board and Volunteers to create a history of our county fair. This year is the 100th year of the fair! How exciting for us all.

In doing research, the staff and volunteers have been searching for historical accounts, photographs, and artifacts for the project. This photo was actually a negative from the BF Herald collection, taken during the 1987 fair parade. Someone somewhere knows something about it! We would love to know who is in the photo.

The Museum collection has many ‘unlabeled’ photos like this that need captions. And, yes, the Museum has the equipment to scan both negatives and slides; so if you have some fun fair photos, negatives, or slides that we may scan, bring them into the Museum to help with this project! Thank you for your continued support!
