COEUR d’ALENE — The Salvation Army Kroc Center has transitioned from operating as a community center to a key emergency support role for Kootenai County.

Beginning today, members will have access to a virtual workout program. Kroc instructors will lead online classes, allowing members to work out at home. Members can visit www.kroccda.org/groupex and follow the instructions to access the classes and find the class schedule.

Meanwhile, a group of employees has been trained to clean and sanitize, and the Kroc Center is being scrubbed from top to bottom. Several employees are volunteering for Panhandle Health District’s hotline to answer community questions. The Kroc Center has also activated its own emergency services hotline at 763-0777.

Kroc Center management encourages members to maintain their Kroc memberships, as members serve as the biggest charitable contributors.
