Frontier Conference honors local athletes

Two athletes from Columbia Falls and another from Kalispell made the Frontier Conference women’s basketball all-academic team announced on Friday.
Taylor Salonen of Kalispell and Kaira Burlage and Peyton Kehr of Columbia Falls made the 41-member team.
To be eligible the athlete must be a sophomore in standing at her college, be enrolled at the school the previous two semesters and maintain a 3.0 grade-point average.
Salonen is a senior elementary education major at Carroll College. Burlage is a junior in the nursing program at Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho; Kehr is a junior in elementary education at Montana State-Northern.
