Man stirs up drive-thru hullabaloo

An angry man called Kalispell Police Department to air his grievances with drive-thru employees. He alleged the employees “were mean to him,” at the window and said he was cursing, which he adamantly denied. He then reportedly wanted to talk to a general manager who was not available. He was counseled.

A later call came in from a store manager who reportedly told officers a man was harassing and calling drive-thru employees names and he kept calling and hanging up because “he was stuck in the driveway.” The manager reportedly tried to talk to the man to resolve the situation before turning to police. The manager was counseled.

A man, who seemed high, purportedly tried to steal foot cream from a grocery store.

A man, who appeared to be homeless, allegedly bathed in the pond at Woodland Park and walked away with just a trash bag covering him. He then dressed and laid down on the hillside.

A fight between two men reportedly resulted in one of the men running into a house to get a gun. The man with the gun was said to be intoxicated.

A woman allegedly hit in the head by rocks kicked up from a lawnmower, told officers she didn’t need medical attention because her sunglasses had protected her. She alleged the person screamed and yelled at her, saying he was “going to kick her (expletive).” Both parties were counseled and separated.

A woman reportedly complained “kids” were “ripping up and down East Montana,” and were “more rambunctious tonight than last week.”

A 13- or 14-year-old was supposedly seen sitting on the roof of an SUV as it drove up to an apartment complex.

A hotel employee allegedly found a bunch of drug paraphernalia and a fake $100 bill from a room where the guests left without paying $55.14.

Someone claimed a man threw a 4-week-old puppy and hit it.

A man reportedly found a methamphetamine pipe on his property.

Women allegedly put a computer and printer in a vehicle with a flatbed trailer and wouldn’t show a receipt to security. The women were issued citations and released by police.

A man with a large knife on his hip, who was inside a motor home in a parking lot, reportedly acted belligerent to someone who was trying to get him to leave.

A woman allegedly told police her landlord was going to lock her apartment with the keys inside, but she came home to find “lots of items missing,” and suspected her ex. While talking with officers she supposedly thought her son’s markers were missing, but wasn’t sure. She also found her keys.

A vehicle allegedly coming and going from what someone described as a “drug house,” parked in a way that the headlights were shining in the person’s windows. A tow truck was called.
