Columbia Falls woman killed in rollover

A Columbia Falls woman was killed in a rollover accident on Highway 83 near Condon May 1.

The Missoula County Sheriff’s Department identified her as Melissa Ellis-Munoz, 29. Munoz went off the road for unknown reasons. She was wearing her seatbelt according to the Montana Highway Patrol.

NBC Montana said a 40-year-old female passenger from Kalispell was ejected from the vehicle, but survived.

She is being treated at St. Patrick’s Hospital in Missoula and is in critical condition.

Road conditions were bare and dry at the time.
