Coronavirus: No new cases reported Tuesday in Grant County

GRANT COUNTY — There were no new cases of the novel coronavirus reported in Grant County on Tuesday, according to Grant County Health District.

Grant County’s total of confirmed cases was 192.

There were also 35 probable cases and 112 tests still pending results as of Tuesday. Ninety-two people had recovered enough to no longer be placed under quarantine, the health district reported last Friday.

Three people sickened with the novel coronavirus are currently hospitalized.

As of Tuesday evening, Quincy’s total of confirmed cases was 71, Moses Lake had 36, Mattawa had 46, Ephrata had 16, Royal City had 12, Warden and Soap Lake each had four, and the Grand Coulee/Electric City area had two confirmed cases.

In addition to tests that have come back positive, 2,344 have come back negative. As of Tuesday evening, around 7.6 percent of Grant County tests have come back positive, down from a high of around 13.5 percent at the end of March.
