Coronavirus: One new case reported Wednesday

GRANT COUNTY — One new case of the novel coronavirus was reported in Grant County on Wednesday, a Mattawa-area man between the ages of 41 and 60, according to Grant County Health District.

In total, 193 confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus had been confirmed in Grant County. There were also 34 probable cases and 113 tests still pending results as of Wednesday.

As of Wednesday evening, the Quincy area had 71 confirmed cases, Moses Lake had 36, and the Mattawa area had 47.

In addition to tests that have come back positive, 2,349 have come back negative. As of Wednesday evening, around 7.6 percent of Grant County tests had come back positive, down from a high of around 13.5 percent at the end of March.
