SHOPPER: Unmasking frustration

I would like to thank Super 1 in Rathdrum for not requiring their employees to wear masks to at least protect us who are most vulnerable to this virus (as they probably come in contact with hundred-plus people each day).

I would also like to thank the two teenage baggers (one male and one female) who continually made snarky remarks about those of us who were wearing masks. Since I spent $300-plus on groceries this trip, I pledge to shop now in Post Falls at Walmart, where they and their employees at least have the courtesy to take this virus seriously and wear masks to protect their shoppers from harm.

I also note that in the Sunday paper article on the reopening, two of the people interviewed were from Washington. I wish continued good luck to Kootenai County that this virus, along with the accompanying illness, STAYS mostly unaffected.
