Dorothy Johanna Gallus, 16, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020, in Rathdrum. Dorothy was born Nov. 23, 2003, in Shoreline, Wash., to Pete and Suzanne (Schleder) Gallus. Dorothy was a junior at Lakeland High School in Rathdrum. She competed in soccer, track and cross country, and enjoyed playing basketball. Her hobbies included art, writing and hiking.

She is survived by her parents, Pete and Suzanne; siblings, Madeleine, Erika, Caroline, Jacqueline, Michael and Roy; grandparents, Eric and Charlotte Schleder and J.P. and Regina Gallus; and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Funeral Mass is planned for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020, and a Rosary Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2020. Both services will be held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 4772 E. Poleline Ave., Post Falls, ID 83854.
