I saw large photos on your front page of the horrid disrespect of our American flag being flown upside down in front of homes in Hayden. It seems they are very unhappy and frustrated with the election results. The resident feels the election was unfair. So he has decided to degrade the flag and convince his neighbors to do the same saying, “I’m angry. We don’t have any way to release that anger peacefully. So this a way to release your frustrations peacefully.”

The ironic part of this is, that is exactly what Colin Kaepernick felt when he peacefully protested by kneeling on the field. Yet he was degraded, called a traitor, anon patriot, and worse.

Trump made a point to call him and other players out publicly, saying, “Wouldn’t you love to see one of these NFL owners, when someone disrespects our flag to say, ‘Get the Son A Bitch off the field right now. Out! He’s fired. He’s fired!”

Oh the irony of the extreme right wing. Oh the hypocrisy!
