Elizabeth May Naumann Jones, 85

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Elizabeth May Naumann Jones, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020, at the age of 85 years while sleeping at her residence in Long Beach, California.
Liz was born on Nov. 5, 1934, on her family’s farm near Kalispell. She was the fifth of seven children of George and May Naumann. Liz loved growing up with her large family and helping on the farm. She frequently told stories about the farm.
Liz is survived by her two brothers, Carl (Ellen) Naumann and George (Ellie) Naumann, one sister, Jean Fredenberg, two wonderful children and one not so much, Lisa Benlian, Mike Pollinger and Brian Pollinger, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She has joined her son Scotty and daughter Julie in her eternal home.
Liz was a longtime resident of Kalispell where she lived a full life prior to leaving in 2018. For many years, Liz worked at Montana Power and eventually retired. She loved quilting, enjoyed reading and playing card games. Her very favorite thing to do was visiting garage sales on the weekends.
Liz was a huge part of her families’ lives where she will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
Please join us celebrating her life Tuesday morning Nov. 17, graveside at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Kalispell.
A memorial service and reception will follow at noon at Trinity Lutheran Church, 400 West California Street.
