Single-vehicle collision injures Moses Lake man

A Moses Lake man was injured in a rollover collision Sunday afternoon on state Route 17 along Lake Lenore.
Eliseo Martinez, 38, was taken to Columbia Basin Hospital in Ephrata after the incident, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Martinez was driving a Cadillac Seville southbound on SR-17 just before 2:50 p.m. when the vehicle ran off the right side of the road, rolled and landed on its roof, the WSP stated. The trailer and boat Martinez was towing detached and came to rest apart.
The Cadillac was totaled. Martinez was wearing a seat belt. He faces charges, WSP stated, of driving with wheels off the roadway and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
Drugs and/or alcohol didn’t appear to be a factor in the collision.
