BONNERS FERRY — It’s been nearly a month since Bonners Ferry High School had its last team sporting event, but with winter sports basketball and wrestling starting up, the first games are right around the corner. Here’s what is on tap for the Badgers this week.

Friday, Nov. 20

5 p.m. Girls basketball vs. St. Maries (Home)

Saturday, Nov. 21

6:30 p.m. Girls basketball at Lakeside (Away)

Tuesday, Nov. 24

We’re only just now getting into the winter months in Northern Idaho, but before we know it, summer will be right around the corner. And with summer comes the TeamsWin fast-pitch softball and baseball leagues in Boundary County.

Badgers girls cruise to second, third wins

The Bonners Ferry High School girls basketball team handily won their second and third games of the season, sailing past Wallace 70-40 on Nov. 24 and easily beating Stillwater Christian 67-29 on Nov. 28.
