CONNELL — The Columbia Basin Health Association has added X-ray services to its Connell clinic.
Ivonne Valdez of CBHA said it’s a mobile unit. “We will be able to roll the X-ray machine into the patient’s exam room, rather than having the patient move to another room. This is very helpful for our patients who don’t move around easily,” Valdez wrote.
The addition of the X-ray machine eliminates the need for patients to drive to Othello for the service.
Because X-ray services are now available in Othello, patients can get results within 24 to 48 hours, she said.
