Body discovered in canal west of state Route 28

EPHRATA — Police are investigating after human remains were found in a canal along Road J Northwest, west of state Route 28, according to law enforcement officials.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office released a statement shortly before 4 p.m Thursday announcing that a body had been discovered in the canal. No other information regarding the identity or condition of the body was released as of Thursday evening.
