MOSES LAKE — Three Grant County residents infected with the coronavirus have died, including a woman in her 30s with no underlying health conditions, bringing the total deaths in the county to 24, according to Grant County Health District.

The patients included a Mattawa woman in her 30s, only the second county resident under the age of 40 to die of the virus. Two other patients with the virus, a Quincy man in his 60s and a Moses Lake man in his 60s, both with underlying health conditions, have also died.

The health district wrote in a press release that the deaths were a sad reminder that COVID-19 can affect anyone, of any age.
