CLARK FORK — The Clark Fork volleyball team swept Genesis Prep in straight sets Thursday night, 25-20, 25-13, 25-16.

"The girls played pretty good tonight," head coach Michelle Valliere said. "We were able to get a lot of the girls that don't get very much playing time in which was good and we did a good job toward the end of the match just playing on our side of the court and not theirs."

Sophomore Paige Valliere led the team with 19 assists and six aces and junior Caiya Yanik added seven kills, four digs and a block.

Clark Fork (10-2, 3-1 North Star League) lost a virtual coin toss for the No. 1 seed in next week's 1A Division II District 1 volleyball tournament. The No. 2 seed Lady Cats will host No. 3 Kootenai in a district loser-out game 6 p.m. Tuesday.
