VANTAGE — A Moses Lake man died when he drove his motorcycle off Interstate 90 near Vantage on Saturday.
The Washington State Patrol said the accident that killed Edward Wright, 78, was still under investigation and may have involved a medical issue.
Wright was riding west on I-90 about five miles west of Vantage when he crossed from the right lane into the left lane and then off the road to the left, hitting an embankment. The accident occurred about 6:30 p.m.
Wright was ejected from the bike, the WSP said, and the bike continued about 100 feet down the embankment before coming to a stop.
Wright was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a helmet. The motorcycle, a 2019 Harley-Davidson, was totaled.
