_____

NATIONAL SUMMARY

Mild air will expand northward from the Southern states and

into the Northeast tomorrow. Much of this corridor can

expect a dry day, but there will be a storm system that

brings showers to interior portions of the Northeast.

Thunderstorms are forecast to pester Florida and Georgia as

rough surf and dangerous rip currents batter the southern

Atlantic Seaboard. Stray showers will accompany a push of

warmer air into the Midwest. The northern Rockies will

continue to get an early taste of winter with unseasonably

cold air and more accumulating snowfall. Gusty winds will

kick up late in the day across Northern California,

creating a high fire danger that will last through the end

of the week. Interior areas of the Southwest are forecast to

remain dry and sunny with above-average warmth.
