Authorities investigate suspicious death at hot springs

A man who was questioned by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office in connection with the death of a woman at a hot springs business in Hot Springs Tuesday has been released and no charges were filed.
According to information from Lake County Sheriff Don Bell, the man was taken into custody following a call at 8:40 p.m., about an unresponsive woman in a soaking pool at a hot springs business on Camp Aqua Road.
People at the hot springs attempted to revive the woman but were unsuccessful. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman’s body was taken to the Montana State Crime Lab in Missoula for an autopsy. She was identified as 39-year-old Keri Anne Allison. Bell said in a press release Allison had moved to the Polson area in the previous year and is originally from the Marysville, Washington area.
Lake County Sheriff’s Office authorities are still investigating the incident.
