QUINCY — A Quincy man was arrested Sunday on suspicion of choking his 10-year-old child and punching his 12-year-old child in the gut, according to local police officials.
David Segura Lopez, 34, of Quincy, was booked on charges of second-degree domestic violence assault of a child and third-degree domestic violence assault of a child.
“We responded over there because the grandpa reported the following day that there had been a disturbance,” said Quincy Chief of Police Kieth Siebert. “We went over there, contacted the kids and the family, and determined that the suspect, Mr. Segura, had choked the 10-year-old and punched the girl in the gut multiple times.”
