Donald Trump Jr. is scheduled to visit Kalispell on Saturday to stump for Republican candidates up and down the ballot, offering a star-power boost in the final days of the campaign season.

The Halloween rally featuring the president's son comes less than two weeks after the party brought former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley to Montana to campaign for U.S. Rep. Greg Gianforte and U.S. Sen. Steve Daines.

Gianforte is in a close gubernatorial race against Democratic Lt. Gov. Mike Cooney, while Daines hopes to fend off a challenge for his seat from Democratic Gov. Steve Bullock. The rally also will feature Matt Rosendale, who's running for Gianforte's House seat against Democrat Kathleen Williams.

The Flathead County Republican Party said the event will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Flathead County Fairgrounds grandstand. Attendees must have a ticket to attend; go to https://www.eventbrite.com/e/rally-with-donald-trump-jr-and-steve-daines-tickets-127242767543

The rally will take place outside. Those attending are encouraged to dress warmly. There will be limited capacity.
